I've got better things to do.
Hung the new porch screen door yesterday. Escaped with a couple of minor scrapes and one brused finger. If things ever dry out I'll paint it, put the screening back in and cross that job off the list.
Forgot to mention that the Hummingbird showed up at the feeder Monday. Saw a Northern Oriole in the apple tree this morning and put his feeder out. Within an hour he was having a drink. Will pick up a few oranges to put out on my next trip to the store.
When I finished the screen door job clean up, I closed the camp and headed for home. Stopped in Deposit for a look at the WB. Five boat trailers went by while I was walking from the parking lot to the shop door. Drove down to the Men's Club and counted ten boats between the town bridge and the clubhouse. It was about 3:30 and I never saw a bug or a rise. The water was 1,900 cfs above Oquaga!
Heard it raining during the night and checked the flows this morning to see how the rivers fared. Everything is blown out with all rivers still rising. The only glimmer of hope for the waders is that the EB and WB above the reservoirs didn't seem to be hit as hard with last night's rain.. Hopefully the spills will lessen in the coming days and we can get back in the water. Do not come if you are expecting to wade fish.
